2006 Programme

In 2006, Inbetween Time has been programmed in five distinct strands. Festival-goers can take part in as much or as little as they wish. The best way to see as much as possible (as cheaply as possible!) is to buy a Festival Pass. Visitors to Arnolfini galleries over this period will be introduced to Inbetween Time via This Secret Location, much of which is completely FREE (see IBT Free for more details). Some events will have tickets on general release. However, because Festival Pass holders take precedence, these won't be available until 1 February. See booking for information about attending the festival.

Select from the images above to see how the programme is evolving. The full programme has now been uploaded onto the site although some details may change.

An A4 version of the festival schedule is available to download as an Acrobat pdf for offline viewing and printing.

This Secret Location takes over Arnolfini’s galleries and behind the scenes spaces. Extraordinary large-scale, immersive installations and intimate encounters between strangers create gateways into faraway worlds.

Twisted Showbiz infiltrates Arnolfini’s darkened spaces and Bristol’s alternative venues to explore the edges of theatrical trickery, nasty cabaret and the grit beneath the glitter.

Lecturama eases you into each Inbetween Time day offering huge doses of caffeine and small but unexpected contemplations on life, success, oddity and other such sensible nonsense.

Breathing Space presents UK premieres of really risky commissions and inconceivable conversations by the next wave of UK and Australian (very much alive) live artists.

We Live Here invites a wealth of Bristol’s talented live artists to come and perform on our doorstep ….and then stay for a while.

Inbetween Time combines performances, installations, interventions, discussions, tours, parties and the kind of DJ’s you can only find in your front room on a Monday.
