Arnolfini needs your unwanted Crockery
Arnolfini's forthcoming exhibition Far West will transform Arnolfini from an arts venue into a distinctive ‘concept store’. Presenting an exclusive range of products, all of which have been designed by artists or inspired by artists’ projects, the Far West concept store will invite customers to enjoy a range of special activities and scenarios, actively taking part in the creative processes of production.
Internationally renowned artist Yoko Ono will be presenting Mend peace for the World a participatory work which invites visitors to produce their own ornaments and pots from an assortment of broken crockery in the Gallery. Arnolfini is calling for any unwanted crockery that you may have tucked away in your homes for use in this exhibition.
If you would like to donate any of your unwanted pots, plates, cups, saucers and general ceramic goods for use in Mend peace for the World please call in at Arnolfini, Tues - Sun between 10am and 6pm and leave them with the Box office.
