  Stewards (Temporary)

Arnolfini is seeking to recruit Temporary Stewards to provide a welcoming environment for all the visitors to the venue, informing, stewarding and undertaking a security role for exhibitions, film and performance events. The role requires excellent customer/interpersonal skills and an enthusiasm for the contemporary arts.

The salary is offered at £11,478 pro rata per annum, standard Arnolfini terms and conditions will apply. 

This is a temporary, fixed term post from 12 Sept 2008 – 31 Jan 2009. The contracted hours are 20 hours per week. As Arnolfini operates over a 6 day week, a flexible approach to working days and hours is required. Please note, we would require any candidate to be available to begin work from 12 Sept 2008.

Internships

Arnolfini offers a limited number of Internship placements to work on specific projects within the organisation. An internship at Arnolfini provides hands on training in arts management and an overview of operations and is a great opportunity for anyone, over the age of 18, wanting to work in cultural industries. Interns work with all staff, with a clearly defined role and set of duties, exposing them to the whole organisation as well as experience in a specific area (e.g. education, exhibitions, live art /dance)

Arnolfini are currently advertising Internships for the following programme areas:

The Exhibitions team: wish to appoint an intern to provide administrative support, research and artist liaison

3 months - October/November/December (between 2 and 5 days a week).  Closing date for applications September 19
