We also house a complete collection of Arnolfini's programmes, going back to the founding of the organisation. You are welcome to use the space for browsing, quiet personal study, or simply as a place to relax and reflect after a tour of the building. Free wifi is available, as is a PC for web browsing.

Reading Room Display
During the Old Media season, there will be a changing display in the Reading Room of work that has a relationship to the programme, and items from the Arnolfini archive which is in the process of being catalogued. In September this will include work by Harold Cohen, author of the AARON program, an ongoing research effort in autonomous machine (art making) intelligence which he began in 1973.
Events programmed in the Reading Room are very often discussion-oriented, to make the most of the intimate, convivial nature of the space.
Forthcoming events include Tertulia - about creative work that takes an interdisciplinary approach to language.
