Reading Room
With a comprehensive library of contemporary art books, magazines, DVDs of artist films and interviews, and a range of resources relating to our current programme, Arnolfini's Reading Room is a place to find out more about some of the ideas behind our exhibitions and events. We also house a complete collection of Arnolfini's programmes, going back to the founding of the organisation. You are welcome to use the space for browsing, quiet personal study, or simply as a place to relax and reflect after a tour of the building. A member of staff is always on hand to assist you with access to the resources and any particular queries you may have. Free wi-fi is also available.
The Reading Room is also host to a range of discussion events designed to deepen our understanding of themes in Arnolfini's current programme. Utilising a range of learning methods - reading, writing and listening amongst them - we hope to use the work of our exhibiting artists as starting points to explore wider issues in contemporary culture.
