Poet and critic Tim Liardet is the author of five collections of including Competing with the Piano Tuner and To the God of Rain. His most recent collection The Blood Choir was shortlisted for the 2006 TS Eliot prize.

Annie McGann is well known to audiences throughout the region both as a poet of acerbic wit and considerable charm and for the many poetry events she has organised.
