How do contemporary films grab the modern audience? What makes them so different from their predecessors? On this course we'll explore the playful nature of today's cinema, looking at editing, narrative structure, the treatment of genre, remakes and sequels and the impact of technology. In a lively group setting, you'll explore contemporary cinema and discover the unique pleasures it provides. The course run by Clair Schwarz will include watching two films at Arnolfini.
