Installation: Run Away Bride

To accompany Clare Thornton's residency at Arnolfini also presents her installation piece Run Away Bride which was first shown at TOU Scene, Stavanger, Norway (2007). The installation comprising video and sculpture is a study of the body in tension, contest and resistance. Three contrasting scenarios conjure up a taut emotional atmosphere of internal and external oppositions and the thrill of the ‘in-between’.
