Arnolfini and Encounters International Film Festival present a multifarious mix of visual marvels and aural delights on this innovative new stage.

Sat & Sun 1pm, Art Flavours
Acclaimed artist Tim Etchells has collaborated with an Italian ice cream maker and an Italian art critic to attempt to turn art concepts and themes into ice cream flavours.

Sat 2pm, Cityscapes 09
Onedotzero presents a short film selection from their 2009 festival. From personal stories to collective experiences this programme investigates how cities are changing and, in turn, how we are changing our cities, includes d-fuse's endless cities_redux, extracted from their live av odyssey that captured urban expansion across ten asian cities.

Sat 5.15pm, Genre Collage
A very special live performance by People Like Us, cutting numerous old movies and soundtracks together into a unique, humorous and entertaining take on cinematic genre.

Sat 7.15pm, Bug Planet
Stunningly shot nature film meets cult sci-fi in Bug Planet; a sumptuous hybrid movie cut up by VJ Rodell with mutated insect chirps and micro-house clicks and beats melded into a live re-score by LOVEWIG.

Sat 3.30pm & Sun 2pm, Encounters Short Film Festival
Presenting a collection of animations intended to tickle the visual senses of the whole family. Expect them to be funny, thoughtful, abstract and anything but ordinary.

Sun 3.15pm, Time Traveller's Guide to Bristol
ArthurCox presents a chance to see this new digital project that uses geographically collated archive films and photographs to explore the city's past. You can follow up on the screening by downloading the free iPhone application or visiting www.atimetravellersguidetobristol.com with its futuristic images and 3D virtual realities.
