We’re thrilled to announce a new partnership between Arnolfini and independent Bristol brewery Wiper and True.
Launching this summer, Wiper and True will be the new operator of Arnolfini Café Bar. Located within our iconic harbourside home at Bush House, the Café Bar has long been part of the social and cultural life of Bristol — somewhere to meet friends, enjoy drinks after events and exhibitions, and enjoy the atmosphere of the waterfront.
Founded in 2012, Wiper and True has become one of Bristol’s most respected independent breweries, known for its purposeful beers, welcoming hospitality spaces and strong commitment to community, sustainability and collaboration. The Arnolfini Café Bar becomes the brewery’s third venue and its first in the city centre.
Opening in partnership with Bristol food operator FED, the space will offer a relaxed all-day café bar experience for gallery visitors, harbourside locals and the wider creative community alike.
By day, expect coffee from Yallah, pastries, toasties, salads and cakes, while evenings bring Wiper and True’s freshly brewed beers alongside cocktails, wines and non-alcoholic options within a welcoming harbourside setting.
Arnolfini Café Bar will initially reopen with a light-touch refresh for the summer season, whilst longer-term plans for a full refurbishment are developed for 2027.
As Arnolfini prepares to celebrate 50 years in Bush House, this partnership marks an exciting moment in the organisation’s history.

Outdoor bar and beer garden – re-opening from 14 May, 8am – 10pm daily.
