Diverse Artists Network (DAN) is a development agency for diversity in the arts, promoting cultural competency and representation in the sector. Founded in 2018 to advance cultural equity and representation in the arts, brings together creatives, venues and community organisations across Bristol and the South West region with the aim of building national and international networks that encompass the broadest spectrum of diversity and representation.
Building on decades of advocacy by the founders, including Tribe of Doris in the 1990s, DAN has laid the foundation for DIASPORA! by addressing systemic barriers to inclusion and championing cultural diversity
