The Visitor Services Assistant will provide a welcoming and engaging experience, ensuring that our visitors always have a safe and enjoyable visit.

You will deliver visitor engagement activities; these take form of workshops, short talks or providing information in the gallery.

You will ensure our safeguarding policy and health and safety policy and guidelines are followed across all Arnolfini’s public spaces.

The Role

You will be the first point of contact for visitors including the general public, clients, stakeholders and contractors. You will provide a welcoming and engaging environment for all and help to promote daily events and our exhibition programme to ensure visitors get the most out of their visit.

Who are we looking for?

You will have experience working in a customer facing role. You are calm under pressure and can handle emergency situations and support the delivery of a busy programme.

You will have an interest in contemporary art or cultural organisations and be passionate about making culture and the arts accessible for all.

Casual Visitor Services Assistant

Working Hours: Shifts can vary and will include weekends and evenings
Contract: Casual hours
Pay: £12.21 per hour plus holiday pay
