by Victoria L. Valentine
British artist Sahara Longe presents her inaugural solo institutional show at Arnolfini, Bristol, running from June 28 to September 28, 2025. Through new figurative paintings she blends scenes drawn from dreams, memory, and family, rendered in a deep, restrained palette influenced by classical training in Florence. Works such as The Yellow Dress evoke layered identities and alternate selves — the “other side” of who we appear to be.
