Arnolfini is looking for a Bookshop Assistant to join our busy team, providing a welcoming, safe and accessible service, delivering excellent customer service and retail assistance to all visitors.


Who are we looking for?

You will be the first point of contact for customers to the Bookshop, providing a warm welcome and excellent customer service to visitors.

The post holder will possess a good knowledge of the books and products available in the bookshop and ensure the smooth transaction of sales and accurate stock maintenance.

You will also have an interest in contemporary art or cultural organisations.


Bookshop Assistant

Working Hours: 12 hours per week – 6 hours Saturday and Sunday.

Contract: Permanent.

Salary: £19,760 per annum (paid on a pro-rata basis), which equates to £5,928 per annum actual salary.
