JOIN THE TEAM | Visitor Services Assistants
You will be the first point of contact for visitors including the general public, clients, stakeholders and contractors. You will help to provide a warm welcome, excite and assist visitors and promote the events and exhibition programme.
Who are we looking for?
You will have an interest in contemporary art or cultural organisations and be passionate about making culture and the arts accessible for all.
You will have experience working in a vibrant cultural venue and enjoy working with people. You are calm under pressure and can handle emergency situations and support the delivery of a busy programme.
Visitor Services Assistant x 2
Working Hours: A two-week rota of 10.30am to 6.15pm shifts, equating to an average 24 hour week.
Position 1: Working every Tuesday and Wednesday and every other Saturday and Sunday.
Position 2: Working every Thursday and Friday and every other Saturday and Sunday.
You must be available to work evenings and weekends. Overtime is available.
Salary: £18,720 per annum (paid on a pro-rata basis), which equates to £9.00 per hour, £11,232 actual salary.
Casual Visitor Services Assistant
Working Hours: Covering holiday and absence of the permanent Assistants. Shifts can vary, working Monday to Sunday, 3 to 12 hour shifts between the hours of 8am to 12am as required according to the needs of the business.
Pay: £9.00 per hour plus holiday pay
The start date for these posts is planned for as soon as possible to support our reopening plans, in line with the current Government COVID schedule, mid May 2021.
