We are delighted to share We Are Here, a new print and digital zine created by the Writers of the Global Majority.
Earlier this year, the group—founded by writer and producer Jessica Olivia Neill—was awarded a Cultural Conversation Commission, a project supported by the City Arts Fund as part of Bristol City Council’s cultural strategy.
Over the past few months, the writers have come together to develop new poetry and prose responding to the theme of ‘everyday culture’. The resulting publication celebrates the richness of lived experience, community and belonging through a collection of powerful and personal voices.
