Tapestry of the Docks:
While technically not a tapestry, this large textile art work has been woven from the stories and fingertips of Bristol people taking part in creativeShift arts on referral groups across the city.
Inspired by a visit to the Grayson Perry exhibition at Arnolfini in 2017 they wanted to create their own ‘tapestry’ that captured what the Bristol Harbourside means to them.
The finished piece will be on display at Arnolfini later this year. In the meantime, here’s a sneak preview of how the piece is coming together.
