This September, Let’s Make Art launches Home Ed Creative Studio
A weekly, term-time art group for home-educated children and young people aged 7+. The programme is led by Bristol-based artist Laura Calvert, an experienced workshop leader specialising in inclusive creative practice with both neurodivergent and neurotypical children, young people and adults.
Running across two six-week terms, these artist-led sessions offer a welcoming and inclusive space to explore creativity, learn new skills and connect with other home-educated young people.
What happens in the sessions?
Each session introduces a different creative process, with opportunities to experiment using high-quality materials including printmaking, sculpture, textiles, painting, collage, wearable art and drawing. Sessions are hands-on, relaxed and designed to encourage confidence, curiosity and self-expression, with everyone supported to work at their own pace. Home Ed Creative Studio is delivered by Let’s Make Art, founded by Alice Hendy and Karen Davies, Creatives in Residence at Arnolfini. Since 2012, they have created inspiring art experiences with galleries, schools, festivals and communities across the UK.
Small group sizes ensure every participant receives individual support throughout the programme.

Places are limited and must be booked in advance for each six-week block via the link below.

- 12 weekly sessions
- £145 per participant for the whole programme
- Ages 7+
- Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The programme will run subject to minimum numbers.
