Arnolfini - est 1961

Join us for the preview for internationally acclaimed Japanese photographer Rinko Kawauchi’s first major UK exhibition since 2006, At the edge of the everyday world.

It’s an informal event, where you have the chance to explore the exhibition ahead of its opening the following day. Everyone is very welcome and there’s no need to book.

After the preview, join us for our Time is Away + Tara Clerkin Trio & Memotone event in the Theatre from 8pm, where a selected group of musicians and sound artists will be creating new soundtracks to accompany Kawauchi’s video works. This event is ticketed.

At the edge of the everyday world is presented in collaboration with the Bristol Photo Festival, an international biennial of contemporary photography, staged across the city’s museums, galleries and independent spaces, and supported by The Japan Foundation.
