Arnolfini - est 1961

Would you like to hold your community group gathering in Arnolfini’s gallery space?

Alongside Barbara Walker: Being Here, we would love to invite community groups to use our gallery space for a gathering. Gatherings could be anything from a support group, to a yoga class or a creative session – we’re open to your ideas!

We would particularly love to welcome groups that connect with the themes of the exhibition, e.g, social justice, racial equity, Caribbean heritage, art history and portraiture.

Please note:

  • Galleries will still be open to the public.
  • You can extend your visit to the Community Workshop/Reading Room, however we encourage that the main activity happen in the galleries.
  • Maximum group size 20.

The Gatherings will be held from 11 March to 23 May 2025, Tuesday to Friday, between 3pm and 5pm.

Get in touch through community@arnolfini.org.uk using Spring Gatherings as your subject line. We will be accepting ideas until 7 March 2025.

What to include:

  • Lead organiser and name of group.
  • Short description of the group and meeting or activity (max 150 words).
  • Proposed date of gathering.
  • Estimated group numbers.
  • Access requirements.
