When Sir Charles Baskerville is found dead in the garden of Baskerville Hall, his family estate on Dartmoor, with a look of terror carved on his face, and the paw prints of a gigantic hound beside his body, the great detective, Sherlock Holmes, is summoned from Baker Street. With loyal Dr Watson in tow, the legendary sleuths must unravel the mystery, and crack the ancient curse of the Hound of the Baskervilles.
The play is brought vividly and brilliantly to life by Inner Voice Theatre Company: three super-talented young Bristol actors – Ezra Clarke, Robert Carden and Gabe Willem – playing fourteen parts between them in this ultra high-energy comedy. Produced and directed by award winning director, Steven Clarke. The brilliant script, by Olivier Award nominees Steven Canny and John Nicholson, is packed with verbal and visual wit that delivers a sublimely engaging and hilarious adaptation of this rip-roaring British classic.
