About Arnolfini

Arnolfini is an established centre for international contemporary arts located in the heart of Bristol’s harbourside. For over 60 years we have delivered a high-quality cultural programme working with the world’s best visual artists, writers, performers, and musicians alongside our weekly programme of engagement and learning activity. We attract over 600,000 visitors to our historic building to experience the vibrant programme of contemporary arts and we engage with hundreds of thousands more through online and outreach activity.

Our cultural programme brings the best of local, national, and international contemporary art to the region. Arnolfini’s location and flexible spaces (including a 200-seat auditorium) mean it is well placed to be the leading contemporary arts venue in Bristol, complementing and working with other arts venues in the city.

At the centre of our work is our strategic partnership with The University of the West of England’s (UWE) Bristol. This partnership aligns UWE and Arnolfini’s missions and resources to create a world class cultural and educational facility.
