Art Fund releases exclusive Rankin Museum portfolio ahead of announcement of the Art Fund Museum of the Year. See the faces behind the organisations.

The Art Fund have released five new portraits by the well-known British portrait and fashion photography Rankin. We are honoured to be included as one of the five shortlisted museums in contention for the £100,000 Art Fund Prize for Museum of the Year.

Speaking about the commission Rankin said:

“It has been a tremendous experience to work on this project with the Art Fund and museums across the UK. My approach has been to focus on the people behind the scenes, those, frequently unrecognised, that make museums what they are rather than just the obvious people at the top”.

Our image (pictured) includes members of staff from across the team – Ellie Coleman (Curator of Learning), Gaia R Colorni (Impact Manager), Jon Hill (Bookshop Manager), James Sargent (Production Assistant), Kate Brindley (CEO) and Mason Robinson (Volunteer Coordinator).
