Arnolfini - est 1961

We’ve had such an incredible response from visitors to Still I Rise and wanted to share a few with you.

We’ve been asking visitors to Raise Their Voice, sparking the conversation with various questions. Here’s a selection of some so far.

We asked “What does resistance look like to you? Share your act of resistance.”

This visitor has replied “Don’t apologise for who you are!”

We asked “What are your hopes for women in the future?”

We were told “Ser libres y poder salir a nuestras anchas sin ningún tipo de miedo

Not fears”

(Translation: be free and be able to go out without fear)

We asked visitors to share their thoughts and feelings about the stories in the themes in the exhibitions here.

We were told “Inspired and very inspired”

We’d like to thank everyone who made it down and shared their thoughts with us – either with pen in hand or by tagging us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram – we love to hear from you.
