Keep Safe and Enjoy Yourself
The health and safety of our customers and staff is our priority. We’ve introduced new measures so you can enjoy a safe and comfortable visit to Arnolfini.
Should you need assistance, we have priority entrance system in place.
We ask all visitors to please wear a mask when in the building. If you have any health issues around wearing a face mask, please let our team know.
Our front of house and bookshop team will be wearing clear visors.
What if I have forgotten my mask?
We will have masks available for our visitors at £2 each to cover our costs in providing these.
We ask for your support in following our social distancing guidelines. This means keeping 2 metres apart at all times.
One Way System
Please pay attention and follow the one way system. We have reduced the capacity to make your visit safe and more comfortable.
Extra cleaning, using hand washing
We have extra sanitising and cleaning facilities in high touch point areas. Hand sanitising stations can be found throughout the building. Please use sanitiser provided on entry to the building.
If you have any symptoms of Covid-19, are self-isolating or have been contacted in accordance with the track and trace system, please do not enter the building. All members of our team are checked accordingly too.
Our lifts are reserved for users with accessibility issues only. We ask everyone else to use the stairs for which there are social distancing measures in place.
Please check no one is using the stairs before you go either up or down. Please be aware of those who may need assistance and avoid using the handrail where possible.
Please note, in line with Covid-19 guidance and safety, all our toilet facilities are not currently open and those that are must to be limited for visitors to the Gallery only, subject to availability. Thank you for your understanding. There is a list of public toilets available within Bristol at www.bristol.gov.uk/streets-travel/public-toilets.
All members of our team undergo a daily wellness check before they enter the building.
Everyone is supplied with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which is refreshed regularly.
All employees have been retrained in the correct frequency and method of handwashing and use hand sanitiser at regular intervals.
A risk assessment has been completed and documented to demonstrate we have looked at the Covid-19 hazards within Arnolfini and have introduced measures to operate safely.
