November sees the welcome return of the annual Bristol animation festival Animated Encounters, part of the Encounters International Film Festival (16 – 21 Nov) and a key showcase for homegrown and international talent. There are five exciting competitive film programmes: International, British, South West, Emerging Talent and Children’s. Alongside the competitions there are a wide range of programmes and events, including an amazing programme of graffiti related films entitled Canimation that features some of the world’s finest street artists.
