Delve into the overlapping histories of political activism and contemporary arts in and around Arnolfini, in this drop-in workshop led by our Archive Group.

For Bristol Open Doors 2018, this team of young artists has been looking at Bush House, Arnolfini’s home since 1975, and the surrounding harbourside: what has the relationship between Arnolfini and its location been over the decades? What has this relationship meant to Bristol? And how might we use it to imagine the future of the city?

Uncover stories ranging from our connection with the Bristol Riots of 1831, to Arnolfini’s involvement with protests against the introduction of Section 28 – and contribute your own memories and stories to create a three-dimensional history map.

No need to book, just turn up. Suitable for all ages.
