Arnolfini is pleased to welcome four of the finest voices in contemporary Russian Poetry. Tatyana Anatolevna Voltskaya is a correspondent for Radio Liberty and has published three collections. Vera Pavlova became a celebrity with the publication of seventy-two poems in the paper Sevodnya. Kekova Svetlana Vasilevna was awarded the Apollon Gigorev Prize in 1999 and the Moscow Transit Prize in 2001. Tatyan Georgievna Shcherbina is the deputy editor of Vestnik Evropy (European Herald) and has had work translated by Derek Walcott.
The evening will be introduced by Maura Dooley, and the work read in translation by Colette Bryce.
