Artists Matt Jenkins, Sandra Barefoot and Nisha Duggal will present and debate how diverse cultures can work together exploring language, communication, technology and performance. Jenkins and Barefoot developed a project with Elmfield Secondary School for Deaf Children, incorporating Duggals research. Duggal will present and discuss her practice including Copy Cat – a work in progress that can also be described as a performance event or interactive environment. It was created using new programming technology alongside deaf and hearing young people.
