Incorporating animation and film footage, rare 3D ambisonic sound and live performance, Ear Cinema is a multi-faceted installation and a performance piece. In a cubic space created by screens, projections simultaneously run a combination of synchronised animation, film and narrative alongside live performers. Although the piece incorporates extensive cutting edge technology, the real focus lies in the story: For Late Noon Sun, award winning film-maker/animator Lizzie Oxby has created a new body of work in collaboration with members of renowned performance group Psychological Art Circus.
