Please join us for a free CPD session for educators 5-8pm.

This Autumn Arnolfini will be presenting Daphne Wright: Emotional Archaeology, a major solo show of the Bristol-based artist. Using clay, casting, video and sound, Wright draws upon references from art history, literature, film and nonsense poetry to create ways of thinking about often side-lined issues relating to class, faith, parenthood, ageing and care.

The session will start with a private tour of the exhibition. This will be followed by practical activities led by India Rose Harvey exploring what is urgent about the themes of the exhibition and the role of art in interrogating this.

There will be an opportunity to share anything from your own work that is relevant to this or previous educators evenings. Please let us know if you would be interested in doing this.

The evening will finish with time to network. Nibbles and wine will be provided!

This opportunity is open to all educators, across both formal and informal education.

Email ben.thomas@arnolfini.org.uk to reserve your place.
