We’re holding an informal exhibition preview for Angelica Mesiti’s ASSEMBLY and Amak Mahmoodian’s Zanjir and it would be great if you could join us.

It’s free entry and everyone’s welcome, we just ask you book a ticket in advance.

The evening will include an introduction to both exhibitions, details of our forthcoming programme and a chance for you to preview Angelica Mesiti’s ASSEMBLY – an immersive video installation exploring a new democracy of movement, poetry, and song – and Amak Mahmoodian’s Zanjir – a photographic conversation across centuries, across countries and across the border between life and death.

For details of the work and our programme please visit arnolfini.org.uk/whatson
Arnolfini Bookshop will be open late until 8pm during preview evening with catalogues of both exhibitions available.

Our friends over at Spike Island are also holding an exhibition preview for Life in the Margins, the first exhibition in the UK by artist Pacita Abad (1946–2004).
Curated by London-based artist Pio Abad and Spike Island Director Robert Leckie, the exhibition includes over 20 large-scale ‘trapunto’ paintings and other works on fabric made between 1983 and 2003. Spike Island’s preview is also free, no tickets required, and runs 6pm to 8.30pm; be great if you could make both previews. www.spikeisland.org.uk/programme/events/exhibition-preview-pacita-abad/
