Breathing Fire invite Families to come and bring Carnival Pop Up to life through storytelling and playing games.
‘A very inclusive experience that makes you and your story moment feel special.’
Explore Carnival Pop Up by sharing stories and playing games. This event is open to everyone but designed for families with 5 – 11 year olds.
The event is free but booking is essential.
Breathing Fire is based in Bristol and is the UK’s only Black Women’s Playback Theatre Company. The members are of Afrikan/Caribbean descent and are committed to supporting the empowerment of those historically denied a voice.
By sharing individual and collective stories, they tap into the griot (Afrikan story telling) which is grounded in their ancestral heritage.
Access: There is wheelchair access throughout the building. We can provide padded seating upon request. We have accessible and gender neutral toilets and a designated quiet space. There is a hearing loop by request in advance.
The nearest parking spaces for blue badge parking is at the Grove car park.
If you would like to discuss access, please do so in advance of the event by emailing information.assistant@arnolfini.org.uk
