During the last few years, it has became apparent that there have been interactions between the two forms of theatre & dance from as far back as the first decade of the century. Connections between Isadora Duncan and Michael Fokine, Nureyev and Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham and ballet, and Richard Alston and the Royal Danish Ballet are some of the more easily identifiable.
