We invited the wonderful artists at Let’s Make Art to run a series of fun workshops to develop your own stand out style! Inspired by Hassan Hajjaj’s celebration of his Moroccan heritage and cultural influences, we celebrate the beautiful diversity that make Bristol such a great city to live in.

Our first workshop, Language Hats was inspired by the bold and vibrant styles seen in Hassan Hajjaj: The Path exhibition, where children created jaunty, handmade hat from international newspaper pages in languages spoken in Bristol.

In case you missed it, or would like to make another Language Hat, Alice and Karen from Let’s Make Art have created a step by step guide to make a stylish hat from international newspaper sheets and simple paper decorations.
