The desertion of the studio and its implications
As part of Situations, a rare opportunity to hear from one of the most acclaimed French conceptualists of his generation: Daniel Buren. Burens exhibitions and installations are focused solely on the context of their architectural and institutional settings or in situ as Buren describes it. He maintains, All my work proceeds from the studios extinction.
