LUBETKIN and TECTON Architecture and Social Commitment Gallery Two 23 May – 20 June An Arts Council Exhibition based on the work of Berthold Lubetkin and his architectural practice TECTON, which became the subject of international attention in the 1930s, and has had repercussions on housing even today. Lubetkin lives in Bristol, and the exhibition has been created by Peter Coe, a lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture, Bristol University; so Arnotfini is pleased to be the first venue for this touring exhibition. A catalogue to the exhibition has been published by the Arts Council and Bristol University and is for sale in the bookshop, and a tape/slide show will run in the gallery at intervals throughout the day.
