CRASH! is an installation of cymbals and paired percussive objects suspended, in tension, anticipating impact and noise. The installation plays on the invitation these objects suggest to the audience to make them sound. The piece culminates in a performance in which strings and elastic are cut, the objects released to snap, twang, crash, bang and wallop!
