Arnolfini and UWE Bristol have selected artist-duo Juneau Projects (Philip Duckworth and Ben Sadler) to create a public art and nature project throughout 2022-23, exploring mosses, lichens and other overlooked but vital plants.
This mini exhibition showcases some of their collaborative work to date with communities across the UK, through print making, publications, film and sculpture. Come and learn more about who they are and what they do.
Juneau Projects specialise in collaborative public artworks, developed with and for the communities that will interact with them on a day-to-day basis. Working across a broad range of media including sculpture, animation, print making, performance and music, as well as public art, their practice looks at the relationship between society, culture and the natural world, bringing people together to work with them in a hands-on way.
Bryophyte Club – Art Workshops
Join in with a free programme of fun and friendly workshops – no art experience necessary! We’ll be designing small sculptures using laser-cut wood, air-drying clay and paint to help get ideas for the new public artwork.
