The Shadowers portrays a chain of disturbing and surreal interactions between a trio of characters. Weaving a coded language of pain and desire, the lush imagery powerfully suggests the fragility of existence. From sensual, outdoor environments to claustrophobic, ambiguous interior spaces, psychological states are presented in physical landscapes. The Shadowers was shown briefly at Arnolfinis 2006 Inbetween Time festival where it was one of the hits of the festival. The piece now returns for a longer screening. Catch it while you can.
