Join us to help launch Museo Aero Solar, a gigantic solar powered balloon made from recycled plastic bags. This event is part of Arnolfini’s 50th celebrations and Museum Show. There will be a week of design workshops, practical making activities, film screenings and organic food ending with a spectacular launch of the balloon on Sunday. If you are a school, community group or individual interested in working with the artists to make the balloon please contact interaction@arnolfini.org.uk or join in by bringing your carrier bags to Arnolfini.
DESIGN A BALLOON COMPETITION
Design a balloon for Arnolfini’s 50th anniversary. Let your creativity and imagination take flight; send your extraordinary ideas by email or post to interaction@arnolfini.org.uk by 1 October, including your name, age and contact details. Balloon ideas will be shown online and at Arnolfini. There will be prizes for the most inspired creations. All ages welcome.
