The first of two performance events indebted to the art of storytelling.

Travel to the Ballast Seed Garden by ferry for an evening rendezvous with two performers Ira Brand and Chris Goode, each with a story to tell. Refreshments will be available in situ. (Performance time approx 45 mins). Please bring warm clothes for all weathers

Ira Brand
A short story about growing up trying to be careful, ending up a stunt double, and the art of falling. Ira is a writer and performer. She works across theatre and live art, and strives to make an audience re-consider themselves through work that is evocative and intimate.

Chris Goode
Chris Goode makes theatre, tells stories, and thinks out loud about who we all are. His award-winning work has been seen in a variety of settings, from Sydney Opera House and Tate Modern to the most adventurous spaces on the London fringe, as well as, frequently, in people’s homes. He was recently described by The Guardian as “a theatre-maker of infinite talent and infinite compassion”.
