Presented by Arnolfini and Bristol Beer Factory – 2019 Summer Music Series. Showcasing Bristol’s salubrious DJ community, with The Avon in their hearts, we party by its side.

It’s not all about Fridays. This summer we’re warming up for the weekends on Thursdays. Come grab some sunshine, a drink (or a few!) and see what Bristol’s DJs have to offer.

The next dose of Summer Music Series welcomes longtime Bristol music scene affiliate Lakewest to curate our lineup.

Showcasing a group of very talented localites coming together to create an extra special evening of functional and dynamic dance music. Artists on the night include… (A-Z)

Ellis Roberts

Last Autumn saw Ellis Roberts taking up a residency at Motion’s annual In:Motion series. Since then she has showcased her alternative take on Bristol’s unique sound across the city and beyond. Her sets travel through elements of house, garage, electro and techno, although you can expect her to draw for music from all genres.

Lakewest

Lakewest takes inspiration from the vast exploration of sound in Bristol, the origins of dance music and music for film, which results in a sound that is all his own. His DJ dexterity caters for all and also offers a window into his own production, with an anticipated debut release on the way.

Sonic x Rodney

Good pals and now Bristol machine music electro militia Sonic and Rodney join forces. Their solo productions and DJ sets expertly traverse multiple genres but both artists have been zeroing in on the electro construct of late with exciting results. A debut back to back not to be missed!

Yushh (Eminent)

A key part of one of Bristol’s most prolific crews, Yushh is far from short of experience from behind the decks. She’s practically dominated the Bristol airwaves with residencies and various guest appearances on both Noods & 1020 Radio. Her keen ear for the technical side of music bleeds sublimely into both her sets and her own productions, cementing her as one of Bristol’s best.
