Join The West of England Design Forum for an inspiring insight into the creative world of filmmaking.

Annie Atkins is a master forger, creating ‘fake’ pieces of graphic design for movie productions all over the world (including The Boxtrolls; Spielberg’s Cold War thriller Bridge of Spies; and Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs and The Grand Budapest Hotel).

Annie’s warm-up act is Flora Fricker, a graphic designer for film and television working in the art department designing and making graphic props. From 1930s chocolate boxes to medicine labels and ephemeral objects — graphic props that help tell the stories and build the worlds you watch in the cinema.

Doors open at 6.45pm, please arrive on time to get seated for 7pm.

If you’ve missed out booking tickets for this event please email hello@wedesignforum.co.uk to be added to the waiting list.
