Join The Architecture Centre and The Royal Academy of Engineering for this lively debate.

Since the 1990s architects have been increasingly involved in bridge design, but where has this left the engineer, and does it matter? Find out how engineers and architects feel about their changing roles and the effect it has on bridge design. Chaired by Tanya Ross (Buro Happold) and featuring Jim Eyre, Julia Elton, Hugh Pearman and Ian Firth – the gloves are off for what promises to be a lively debate!

This is an Architecture Centre event and part of the Bridge150 season, celebrating ingenuity and creativity in engineering.

Supported by The Royal Academy of Engineering.

A related exhibition The Bridge: Spanning Art and Science is on display from Wednesday 1 October to Sunday 16 November at The Architecture Centre.
