Would you like to hold your community group gathering in Arnolfini’s Gallery space?
Our exhibition Threads: ’Breathing stories into materials’, is all about textiles, so we want to welcome community groups (particularly textile collectives and sewing groups) to use our biggest gallery space for a gathering.
We also want to encourage people to make textile and fibre art in our spaces, surrounded by beautiful artwork. You can use materials from our community workshop, or bring your own!
Please note:
• Galleries will still be open to the public
• Your gathering can extend into our Community Workshop / Reading room spaces on the second floor if you’d prefer somewhere to have teas and coffees or a private space. However, we encourage that the main activity happen in the Galleries.
• Maximum group size 15
The Gatherings will be held during September, Tuesday – Friday, between 4 – 6 pm.
Get in touch through community@arnolfini.org.uk using Threads Community Gathering as your subject line. We will be accepting inquiries until 25th August.
What to include:
• Lead organiser and name of group
• Short description of the group and meeting or activity (max 150 words)
• Proposed date of gathering
• Estimated group numbers
• Access requirements
