The Living Room

Welcome to The Living Room, make yourself at home.

In response to our exhibition Acts of Creation: On Art and Motherhood (9 March – 26 May 2024), The Living Room is where you can find resources on local support and activities for parents and carers, books for all ages, a community book swap corner, and supported seating for breastfeeding.

Alongside The Living Room, displayed across the corridor, is artworks made by participants of creativeShift’s wellbeing sessions in partnership with Central Children’s Centre at St. Paul’s, inspired by portraits by Marlene Dumas and her young daughter Helena.

This is a quiet space for you to rest your body, take a deep breath and give yourself some time to slow down for a little while.
