Join our learning team on the last Saturday of every month to explore Arnolfini’s exhibitions and events through exciting and engaging activities for families to do together.
Work with Bristol based printmaker and illustrator Sophie Rae to explore our Joelle Tuerlinckx exhibition through printmaking. Learn how to make 3 different types of print:
Collagraph-use collage materials to make your own printing block then use this to print your beautiful picture- it’s like magic!
Mono print-draw or press your pattern onto a big inky plate to make a detailed line print.
Stencil print-Cut out shapes to make your own stencils then use these to make your own printed creation.
Please come prepared to get messy (aprons will be provided)!
Most suitable for ages 5+ but all ages are welcome to have a go.
Don’t forget our Family Film Screenings which take place on the same day between 11am-12pm and are free.
