This year WNO will be performing three of Verdi’s greatest works: “Rigoletto”, “II Trovatore”, and “La Traviata”. In this workshop, Rodney Milnes, opera critic of the Spectator, identifies some of the composer’s most important concerns, while principal singers from WNO provide the musical illustrations.
