Lazy Saturday, Women’s Craft Club special Saturday 22nd at 11am to 1pm
Celebrating Bristol Refugee Festival‘s closing weekend and celebrating Sanctuary, we have two special Women’s Craft Club events.
On Friday we have invited Latinas in Bristol to share their skills in Peruvian embroidery. Yanet Ramirez, a Peruvian mix-media and textile artist will lead the session sharing her creativity, Latin Culture and helping you to create and connect with yourself!
Latinas in Bristol is an organisation that works to improve Latin American women’s lives in Bristol by helping them improve their everyday life: with social integration and combating social exclusion/isolation-type activities
On Saturday we will be extending the regular Women’s Craft Club session to a lazy Saturday for any woman to drop in, have a cup of tea and a relaxed time getting crafty.
All materials are provided – including knitting, crochet, embroidery, fabrics, jewellery making and more!
