In this on-going live music project by Billing, an 80s pop song by singer-songwriter Roky Erickson You Don’t Love Me Yet is covered by different invited performers, repeated in a wide variety of interpretations, each reflecting the participants’ own personal style. The event creates a social experience that highlights Billing’s interest in the role of individuals within collective situations. A large number of performers will congregate to perform their rendition of the song in Arnolfinis auditorium, including Paper Hats (featuring members of Lambchop and Calexico). A selection of the participants, including Paper Hats, will stay on following the afternoon event, for an evening performance from 8.00pm – 10.00pm. Full details tbc.
